Writing 39C Workshops
LARC writing workshops are offered several times weekly throughout the quarter, for the convenience of UCI students. Workshops are available on a drop-in basis for students who want to get immediate assistance with their writing assignments. Workshops are not classes. Regular attendance is not required, just drop-in on the day of the workshop.
Writing 39C workshops are designed specifically for students enrolled in that course and are based on current essay assignments. LARC workshops leaders work closely with Writing 39 staff to offer expert assistance in reading assigned texts and writing successful analytical essays.
Our professional writing staff help students clarify their assignments, focus topics, write thesis statements, and organize and support their analysis.
Workshops are ideal for asking questions, getting started with your paper, or checking your progress!

Writing 39C online workshops: NEW!!!!!
Mondays 1:00-1:50
These workshops are directed to students in the online classes;however, anyone enrolled in writing 39C can participate. Questions will be handled instantly through AIM mail. Students may submit any written work, from a thesis statement to an entire draft, up to one hour before the workshop, or just "drop in" online with questions. Similar to our in-person drop-in writing service, online drop-in writing offers students the opportunity to receive a quick response to their writing questions or concerns by sending us an email with their writing and/or questions attached for evaluation and answers. Students usually will receive an email response within one hour, depending upon demand. Email sschober@uci.edu for assistance.
